Our team has conducted a detailed review of the series of issues that occurred this time.
We reflect that there were many points requiring improvement within the entire process from development and verification to release.
Over the long term of service operation, problems existed in both personnel allocation and approach regarding the various accumulated workflows.
Based on this, we have already begun the following improvements:
・Subdividing the verification process flow and changing to a system that performs checks from multiple perspectives
・Identifying issues prone to occur during specification changes and implementing a system to incorporate countermeasures in advance
・Revising pre-release check methods and managing verification items on a per-data-unit basis
These changes aim to replace existing systems with ones less prone to problems.
Furthermore, for all ongoing updates and events,
we are re-verifying everything using the new processes to prevent repeating the same issues.
This Director's Letter details these initiatives, and we would be grateful if you could take the time to read it.
Initiatives to Deliver Better Service
We sincerely apologize for the frequent occurrence of issues.
We would like to report on the service quality improvement initiatives currently being undertaken by our operations team.
[Initiatives to Reduce Fighter Issues]
We are currently pursuing improvements on two fronts.
The first is system improvements to enable more flexible data testing.
We have frequently encountered cases where system constraints prevent efficient testing of Fist Fighter data.
Therefore, we will soon implement modifications to the development system to resolve this issue and improve the quality of data testing.
However, since this involves modifying the development system itself, we anticipate it will take some time to complete this work.
We will continue to provide regular updates on the progress of this effort.
The second initiative is the automation of various testing processes.
To prevent human errors caused by manual procedures, we are implementing various automated testing functions.
For example, a system has been launched that automatically repeats battles under various conditions, detecting and compiling instances of unplayable states or errors.
Through these efforts, we are building a system that minimizes the occurrence of issues related to fighters.
[Initiatives Regarding Customer Notifications During Bug Occurrences]
We recognize that quality issues exist not only in bug occurrence itself but also in how we report them when they happen.
While our sincere desire is to inform customers about bugs more quickly, we cannot make official announcements until we can confirm the occurrence of the issue.
This is to prevent further confusion by avoiding the release of uncertain information from the operations team.
However, we are actively developing and improving internal tools to help confirm occurrences, aiming to provide updates to everyone as quickly as possible.
To elaborate further, battles in Hokuto Revive are broadly composed of two types:
・Battles executed on the server
・Battles executed on the client
To enable swift investigation of each type, we have implemented the following features in our development environment.
・For battles conducted on the server
We have a function that allows us to reproduce the relevant battle within the investigation environment by specifying the battle ID.
We have improved this function to enable parallel investigation of multiple cases.
We expect this will allow for flexible investigation progress and lead to earlier confirmation of occurrences.
・For battles conducted on the client
Due to the system's design, detailed battle logs are not retained for client-side battles, making it impossible to reproduce them within the investigation environment like server-side battles.
Therefore, a dedicated simulator exists for investigating client-side battles.
This time, we have improved the behavior when using this simulator.
We have implemented an auxiliary tool for setting up battle formations for investigation, enabling more precise reproduction of occurrence conditions.
Additionally, previously, creating dedicated enemy data was necessary to use the simulator; we have improved this so that it is no longer required.
This will reduce the time required for investigations.
We will continue implementing further improvements to reduce the number of issues and aim for zero incidents. We are also building a system to promptly announce detailed information to everyone.

Evil Emperor Thouzer debuts as a new rarity upgradeable fighter.
[Holy Emperor] Thouzer, leading the Holy Emperor Army as he strides forward on his path to supremacy.
His fists know only one thing: overwhelming advancement through relentless attacks centered around his Fate Secret technique!
Let's take a look at his distinctive battle performance!
1. Capable of activating Fate Secret technique four times! Overwhelming attack power and sustained combat capability
Evil Emperor Thouzer can activate a total of four Fate Secret technique.
Fate Secret technique imbued with Ultimate Piercer and Endurance Decay can repeatedly deal massive damage to enemy durability.
2. Weakens enemies' Max Damage Lock cap effects with Fate Secret technique!
Before activating a Fate Secret technique, it can increase the main target's Max Damage Lock cap limit by 40%.
This effect persists after the Fate Secret technique is activated, boosting the firepower of all allied fighters and contributing to the swift defeat of enemy fighters.
Detailed performance will be available for confirmation in-game at a later date.
Special Mastery Event Announcement
Next, we have an announcement regarding a special Mastery Event.

To coincide with the arrival of Evil Emperor Thouzer we will be holding a Mastery Event starting December 28th.
In the hard quests of this event, you can get an early experience of the new Buff/Debuff Effect Setting Feature, scheduled to appear in the new battle content planned for implementation at the end of January.
This feature allows you to freely customize the difficulty of quest battles for a more enjoyable experience.
Before starting a quest, you can freely select and combine various effects that alter battle conditions.
For challenging quests, setting multiple beneficial effects might help you clear them.
Conversely, skilled players might find it fun to set all debuff effects and challenge the highest difficulty.

As we still need some time before implementing the new battle content, we've prepared this trial event to offer you a taste of the new gameplay.

January Event Schedule
Next, here is the event schedule planned for January.

Mid-January will see the implementation of UR Fighter rarity upgrades.
Details on the target Fighters and their battle performance will be announced in early January, so we hope you'll look forward to it while speculating who might appear.
Additionally, we'll deliver a packed lineup including the opening of a new story chapter, New Year commemorative events, and New Year gifts like the 2026 Celestial Star Stone.
Furthermore, the Celestial Dojo event in January will feature a special, limited-time frame themed after Evil Emperor Thouzer.
Aim to obtain the Thouzer Frame and challenge yourself in battle!
