Fighter Information
A practitioner of Kyoku Juji Seiken, which derives from Hokuto Ryukaken. He became known and feared as the Death Bird Demon for his strength and cold-heartedness. He heads to Shanghai in order to protect Erika, the List of Hope. His search for somebody strong enough to protect Erika leads him to killing Guise, however, after talking to Yu-Ling, he learns that strength alone is not enough to protect her heart. Having entrusted Erika to Yu-Ling, he takes on Kenshiro Kasumi in a duel of fate, going all out.
Special Technique: Kyoku Juji Seiken Dancing Talon Explosion
A Kyoku Juji Seiken technique where Liu Fei-Yan elegantly leaps over his opponent, rapidly striking the channeling points in their back in the shape of a cross.
Secret Technique: Dance of the Bird of Death
After undergoing life-threatening training, Liu Fei-Yan mastered the Thousand Hands technique, where he spreads his arms wide like a Bird of Death and soars into the air, piercing his opponent's body with endless waves of strikes.
Abilities
Liu Fei-Yan is a powerful Fighter who inflicts Blood Stripe Beheading onto his target, which deals damage according to the Level of Blood Stripe Beheading inflicted every time the target carries out a regular attack or Special Technique. Liu Fei-Yan's ability to gain Levels of Bloody Kiss (Fei-Yan) enables him to reduce the Chi of enemy Fighters whenever he performs a regular attack or Special Technique according to his Level of Bloody Kiss (Fei-Yan).
His Special Technique and Secret Technique inflict his target with 1 Level of Blood Stripe Beheading, which enables him to deal damage to the target of an amount equal to 100% of Liu Fei-Yan's Attack Power every time the inflicted target carries out a regular attack or Special Technique.
After all Levels of Blood Stripe Beheading have been used and damage has been dealt, Liu Fei-Yan gains 1 Level of Bloody Kiss (Fei-Yan). He then reduces the Chi of enemies hit by his regular Attack or Special Technique by 120 for every Level of Bloody Kiss (Fei-Yan) that he has. Liu Fei-Yan also increases his Chi by 120 for every Level of Bloody Kiss (Fei-Yan) that he has, making him a Fighter capable of hindering his opponents from activating their Secret Technique while increasing his chances to activate his own!
Furthermore, he gains Thousand Hands when he unleashes his Secret Technique. Then, for 2 turns, his Damage Reduction is increased by 100%!
His Unique Passive enables him to ignore Additional Damage for 1 turn, revive himself once and even the ability to use Perseverance once, making him a Fighter with excellent defensive capabilities!
If he has 10 Levels of Bloody Kiss (Fei-Yan) at the start of his turn, 5 Levels are removed and he becomes the Death Bird Demon. If he unleashes his Secret Technique when he is the Death Bird Demon, his Attack Power increases (stackable). This means that the longer the battle draws on, the higher his offensive capabilities become!
Liu Fei-Yan has the ability to hinder his opponents with Blood Stripe Beheading and increase his own Chi while reducing the Chi of his opponents with Bloody Kiss (Fei-Yan). He has defensive capability with Thousand Hands and high offensive capability when fights as the Death Bird Demon. This makes him a a Fighter who can adapt to a wide range of strategies.
*Blood Stripe Beheading: After the inflicted target executes a regular attack or Special Technique, deals damage to the inflicted target of an amount equal to the Level of Blood Stripe Beheading x 100% of Liu Fei-Yan's Attack Power. Liu Fei-Yan's Attack Power is calculated at the time damage is dealt. Damage inflicted by this technique cannot be reduced. Damage from this technique cannot defeat the target. This does not count as using Perseverance. As this Damage is inflicted after the target completes their actions for the turn, this Damage is not affected by effects that nullify damage received at the start of the turn and cannot be converted into HP recovery by the Mask of Battle. After damage from Blood Stripe Beheading is dealt, all Levels are removed from the target and the Liu Fei-Yan that inflicted Blood Stripe Beheading gains 1 Level of Bloody Kiss (Fei-Yan). Continuous. Stackable. Cannot be removed. Continues after being revived.
*Bloody Kiss (Fei-Yan): Increases his Attack Power, Damage Increase and Additional Damage Increase by 5% for each Level gained. In addition, for every level of Bloody Kiss (Fei-Yan), reduces the Chi of enemies hit by his regular Attack or Special Technique by 120 and increases his own Chi by 120. Continuous. Max of 10 Levels. This effect is not affected by buff removal. Continues after being revived.
Thousand Hands: Increases Damage Reduction by 100% for 2 turns. This amount is subtracted from the attacking enemy's Damage Increase for a max Damage Reduction of up to 80%. Ignores Status Effects and Additional Damage, excluding Devil Rebirth's Silence when they appear as a Boss in Quests. Thousand Hands is removed when he receives damage, but is not removed if he only receives Additional Damage. Cannot be stacked. This effect is not affected by buff removal.
Death Bird Demon: Increases his own Attack Power by 25% for 2 turns. Ignores 30% of the target's Secret Tech. Dmg Reduction. Inflicts 3 Levels of Blood Stripe Beheading onto the target after unleashing his Secret Technique. Inflicts 2 Levels of Blood Stripe Beheading onto the target after unleashing his Special Technique. Inflicts 1 Levels of Blood Stripe Beheading onto the target after executing a regular Attack. This effect is not affected by buff removal. Continues after being revived.
