The end of July update added the Channeling Points system to the game.
There are still many Fighters who have yet to be added to this system.
Unlocking Channeling Points can make your fighters incredibly strong, so unlocking too many Channeling Points at once could heavily impact the balance of the game. For this reason, we decided to add Fighters a few at a time.
Channeling Points is the latest Fighter enhancement system to be added to the game following the introduction of Charms, and is unlocked at User Level 78.
Simply put, this system is a new way to enhance your Fighters. Unlock the Channeling Points of each individual Fighter in order to enhance their abilities.
In order to Unlock Channeling Points, you need both specific Items and to meet certain requirements.
This enhancement system is a level up from others we have implemented so far.
You need to have a high User Level to unlock the system, and the first Unlock Requirement is to have unlocked 4 of the Fighter's Seven Stars if they are an SR Fighter, and 5 if they are a UR Fighter.
The upgrades to the Unique Passives and Secret Techniques are particularly worthy of note.
Fighter Abilities get upgraded, so it might be easier to think of this as the next step up from Specialized Charms.
At the moment, there are Fighters who can unlock up to 30 Channeling Points,
however, for every 10 Channeling Points unlocked, you will come across a Spiritual Channeling Point which must be upgraded to proceed.
The 10th Channeling Point upgrades the Fighter's Unique Passive,
the 20th upgrades their Special Technique, and the 30th enhances their Secret Technique.
We plan to release new Fighters with 20 Unlockable Channeling Points upon release, subsequently adding 10 more via maintenance or an update that will be held approximately 6 weeks later.
Unlocking all of a Fighter's Channeling Points at once would make some Fighters OP, which is why we decided to gradually add to this system over time.
Channeling Points for Fighters currently in the game will also be added gradually over time via maintenance.
With Channeling Points, Unlocking each Step requires Items such as Fighter Shards of the specific Fighter, Upgrade Crystals, Quartz and more.
(All) Fighter Shards and Fighter Shards of the corresponding Rarity can also be used.
Spiritual Channeling Points require Trophies and Secret Tech. Manuals to be Unlocked.
Channeling Points that require rare Items drastically enhance your Fighters,
so be sure to focus on strengthening your favorite Fighters.
Quartz is a newly introduced Item and is specifically used to Unlock Channeling Points.
There are 9 kinds of Quartz which can be categorized under the following: Power, Technique, Life, Small, Medium and Large. Each Fighter requires a certain type of Quartz.
It's possible to Unlock up to 30 Channeling Points of an SR Fighter with Medium Quartz, however, for a UR Fighter, Large Quartz is required to Unlock from Step 20.
Large Quartz is a rare Item and is more difficult to acquire.
We recommend picking just one Fighter to focus on when using this enhancement system.
Quartz can be obtained from Gate of Shura Rewards.
The number of ways to obtain Quartz will be increased in the future.
We plan on allowing Users to obtain Quartz from a number of Events starting with Alliance Battle Rewards.
