■ Ohgai
Thouzer's Master and the previous Successor of Nanto Ho-Oh Ken. Adopting Thouzer when he was a baby, he raised him as would his own son, training him in the art of Nanto Ho-Oh Ken. When Thouzer undertook his final test of succession at the age of 15, Ohgai fought him and was defeated.
Ohgai's Passive Skill grants Phoenix Protection to 1 random ally Fighter in the Front Row and 1 random ally Fighter in the Back Row (excl. himself).
Ohgai's Chi is increased by 100 every time an ally Fighter with Phoenix Protection is attacked. The Chi of ally Fighters with Phoenix Protection is increased by 100 every time Ohgai is attacked. This helps them unleash their Secret Techniques more often!
Additionally, when Ohgai uses his Secret Technique, Fighters with Phoenix Protection get extra buffs such as increased Special Tech. Dmg Increase, Status Effect removal* and more!
On top of this, the Chi of ally Fighters with Phoenix Protection is increased by 200 when Ohgai uses his Special Technique, helping them to use their Secret Techniques more often, meaning that Ohgai is adept at supporting the Party!
*Phoenix Protection (Nullifies Special Tech. Seal. If the Fighter with Phoenix Protection is in the Front Row, increases their Damage Reduction and Special Tech. Dmg Reduction by 15%. If the Fighter with Phoenix Protection is in the Back Row, increases their Damage Increase and Special Tech. Dmg Increase by 15%. Increases Ohgai's Chi by 100 every time an ally Fighter with Phoenix Protection is attacked. Continues after being revived. This effect is not affected by buff removal.)
*Removes Status Effects (Excluding Seal, Groggy, Agro and Devil Rebirth's Silence when they appear as a Boss in Quests.)
When Ohgai's Seven Stars are unlocked up to 4-stars or higher, his Passive Skill "Master of the Emperor" is unlocked which, upon joining battle, reduces the Special Tech. Activation Rate of all enemy Fighters, increases Ohgai's Defense Power by 80%, and increases his Critical Rate and Crit. Dmg Increase by 20%!
Additionally, it increases his Crit. Dmg Reduction by 150%, helping him withstand powerful Secret Techniques.
Reduces Ohgai's Defense Power by 3% (Max 60%), but increases his Critical Rate and Crit. Dmg Increase by 4% (Max 40%) every time a Fighter on the field uses their Secret Technique!
On top of this, it reduces his Crit. Dmg Reduction by 4% (Max 120%) when damage is received, not including damage received at the beginning of a turn or from Damage Reflection, but increases his Damage Reduction. The higher his current HP, the greater the increase (Min 40%, Max 80%), helping him to maintain a good defense from the beginning of battle.
Grants Phoenix Protection (excl. himself) to 1 random ally Fighter in the Front Row and 1 random ally Fighter in the Back Row and, from Ohgai's 2nd turn onwards, at the beginning of his turn, recovers 10% of the Max HP of ally Fighters with Phoenix Protection and increases their Chi by 150, meaning he can both heal and buff at the same time!
If Ohgai's current HP is 60% or less, it recovers 80% of his Max HP, gives him a Shield equal to 80% of his Max HP, and increases his Critical Rate and Critical Evasion Rate by 20%! (Up to twice per battle.)
If Ohgai is defeated, it increases the Damage Increase, Damage Reduction, Special Tech. Dmg Increase and Special Tech. Dmg Reduction of ally Fighters with Phoenix Protection by 20% and increases their Chi by 1000! (Does not activate if Ohgai Revives.)
Additionally, if an ally Fighter with Phoenix Protection is defeated, it increases Ohgai's Additional Damage Reduction by 100% and ignores Chi Reduction for 1 turn. It also increases his Chi by 1000, helping him to turn the tide of battle!
His Secret Technique attacks a random enemy in the Back Row, prioritizing Technique Type Fighters, and ignores 25% of the target's Damage Reduction.
If the target is a Technique Type Fighter, deals 40% more damage and reduces their Secret Tech. Dmg Increase by 40% for 1 turn! (Cannot be removed).
It also increases the Special Tech. Dmg Increase of ally Fighters with Phoenix Protection by 10% for 2 turns, and increases their Damage Increase and Damage Reduction by 10%!
Upon using his Secret Technique, if Ohgai's Special Technique is already active, it increases his Crit. Dmg Increase by another 20% for 1 turn, making him capable of dealing some serious damage to Technique Type Fighters!
It also has a 60% chance to inflict Special Tech. Seal. on the target, meaning that it can inflict debuffs as well as deal significant damage!
Ohgai's Special Technique attacks a single enemy and inflicts Bleed.
It deals 60% more damage if the target has a Shield and increases Ohgai's Chi by 200!
It also increases the Chi of ally Fighters with Phoenix Protection by 200, helping them to let off their Secret Techniques even more often!
Ohgai is a Nanto Fighter with strong defense that is good at supporting his Party. His ability to grant Phoenix Protection has various advantages and can help to reverse the course of battle even when he or an ally Fighter with Phoenix Protection are defeated!
