2019/11/18 16:00 Producer Letter Vol. 2
Thank you all for playing FIST OF THE NORTH STAR: LEGENDS ReVIVE.
Once again, my name is Iwamoto and I am the producer of the game.
On this second Producer Letter, I would like to address some of the comments and opinions we have received, as well as talk about the direction our team is taking in the coming months.
Improving the Service:
2- Retirement of the Regular Maintenance:
Both our regular weekly maintenance and emergency maintenance procedures unfortunately restrict access to the game at the times they take place. From now on maintenance will mainly take place only when strictly necessary, such as when adding new characters or updating the game.
We have also received messages regarding maintenance notifications and how they might be hard to notice or else be announced too late beforehand. We intend to lessen the number of maintenance periods as well as notify our users of any upcoming maintenance sooner than we have been.
Responding to Comments:
1- Lack of Stamina/Judollars
We have received comments through Customer Support, store reviews and Twitter, that the current stamina isn’t enough (or that it recovers too slowly) and that they have too few Judollars. We believed we had found a good balance on the amounts players earn and spend, as well as opportunities to obtain these items. However, given the amount of comments we have received on the matter, we aim to make adjustments to improve our players’ experiences.
- Stamina:
The amount of Stamina replenished over time will be increased.
- Judollars:
The amount of Judollars that can be earned through Daily Missions and regular gameplay will be increased.
2- There’s too much/too little to do
A number of players have expressed concerns over how there is too much to do in the game, citing the number of areas that need leveling up, remembering the rules of the game and how it is difficult to keep up doing all of these within a short span of time. This doesn’t mean that other players find the amount of things to do to be too little, but rather that players want more options to play with the characters they have leveled up as well as chances to share with members of the guild they might belong to.
As mentioned before, we are revising our current update plans. This might include events based on already existing in-game contents to earn better rewards and allow a more enjoyable experience for free-to-play players.
